Managing Saved Items
You can organize your favorite places, routes, and activities into folders and perform actions like deleting, renaming, or moving items between folders. Some actions can also be done in bulk — such as moving or deleting multiple items at once. You can also set a custom date for all routes, including imported ones.
With a Premium subscription, you can also use a filter to display only saved points, routes (optionally filtered by transport type), manual measurements, or places you’ve already visited.
Permanent Display of Items on the Map
As a Premium user, you can enable the permanent display of a folder’s contents on the map in the Edit properties section. All items in the folder will then appear during planning and other activities as orange icons with a star. Folders with this setting are marked with a green eye icon.
Import GPX Files
The GPX format is supported, which allows the import of tracks (TRK) and waypoints (WPT). You can start the import by dragging the file into Mapy.com, through the Tools menu, Import GPX, or from the context menu of a folder in My Mapy.
Sharing and Public Profile
You can share folders and individual items in My Mapy with other users of the Mapy.com service using a link. The content of the rating and photo sections can be publicly shared, and the data is visible in your public profile without the need to set sharing permissions. Other users can access your public profile through your reviews or photos by clicking on your badge, your name.
You can also share your entire public profile. Places, routes, and activities remain private by default – to share folders or individual records, sharing must be manually enabled.
Notes and Visited
If you have an active Premium subscription, you can add your own text notes (up to 5000 characters) to all saved entries in My Maps, or mark a saved place or route as Visited. When browsing a folder, you’ll immediately see where you’ve already been. You can also use a filter to display only the places you’ve visited in that folder.
